Car parking for visitors, patients and staff is important throughout the life of the Redevelopment project. A new temporary car park (picture, above) opened in July 2021, at the front of the hospital to provide additional parking capacity and minimise disruption to operations throughout the redevelopment. The existing northern car park near the old Childrens Ward closed at the end of 2021 to allow for construction of the new Hospital. New car parking and landscaping will be completed in 2025 to complement the new Hospital building when it is completed.
