Griffith Base Hospital redevelopment features prominently in Griffith's annual display of Citrus Sculptures, on now until 21 October 2023.

A tower crane, modelled on the hammerhead crane installed at the redevelopment site for the past 15 months, was decorated with hundreds of oranges and sits alongside over 60 sculptures lining Banna Avenue.

Construction partner ADCO Constructions led the iniative which included designing, building and decorating the sculpture. It’s a memorable contribution to a unique and colourful festival!

Now that the structure for the new hospital is topped out, the tower crane named 'Hope' is scheduled to be removed from site and the Griffith skyline in early November 2023. The focus of construction will shift to internal fit-out and exterior works.

Construction is continuing for the Hospital redevelopment which is scheduled for completion in 2025.
